5 Inclusion Framework Guidance
Is the Inclusion Framework just for pupils with SEND?
The Inclusion Framework is for all pupils/students who are experiencing a barrier to accessing a
full, mainstream education. Use of the Inclusion Framework should therefore not be seen as a tool
just for SENCOs.
The Inclusion Framework can support schools and settings to improve their universal, targeted or
specialist provision; and supports schools and settings to deliver the expectations of the Ordinarily
Available Framework, SEND, Inclusion and Disadvantaged Strategies.
