Indicators of success
We will know we are travelling in the right direction when:
Outcome Indicators
a. positive, mutually
respectful,
relationships underpin
and support the
inclusion of all pupils
and their families, and
promote equality and
diversity
Pupils, teachers, and families say they feel respected, safe, and
valued within the school community.
Pupils and their families say they are active partners in decision
making.
There is a reduction in the number of permanent exclusions and
suspensions.
There is a reduction demand for places in Pupil Referral Units
Good progress is being made towards the specific key performance
indicators outlined in the relevant ECC delivery plan, and those set
out for the Inclusion Framework and Inclusion Reviews.
b. the wellbeing of all
members of school
communities is
well-supported and
safeguarded
Pupils say they feel safe and well-supported in school.
Pupils and their families say they have impactful engagement with
appropriate services when needed.
There is a reduction in the number of referrals to Children's Social
Care.
Good progress is being made towards the specific key performance
indicators outlined in the relevant ECC delivery plan, and those set
out for the Inclusion Framework and Inclusion Reviews.
c. all pupils enjoy school
and have high levels of
attendance
Pupils and/or their families say they feel a greater sense of
belonging to their school community.
There are sustained decreases in overall rates of pupil absence and
persistent absence.
Good progress is being made towards the specific key performance
indicators outlined in the relevant ECC delivery plan, and those set
out for the Inclusion Framework and Inclusion Reviews.
d. all pupils are
empowered and eager
to participate in all
aspects of school life
Pupils report that they actively participate in their school community.
There is a sustained reduction in the number of pupils (reception to
year 11 age) who are electively home educated, as a result of unmet
need.
