Inclusion Reviews
Inclusion review activities to be scheduled by the review team lead,
in conjunction with school leaders
Meetings as a whole team that need to be scheduled
Arrival/briefing for team- start of the day
Leading inclusion- Headteacher/Principal and SLT- start of the day
Brief discussion for the team following the 'Leading inclusion' meeting
Structured team catch-ups- break and lunch time
Team meeting/report drafting- end of the day
Feedback- end of the day

Pillar 1 Positive, mutually respectful

NB: A meeting must be scheduled with the lead teacher in any school hosting an Enhanced Provision
(see Appendix 4).
Start of day meeting with the review team
The review team lead should introduce all team
members, and then ensure that team members:
y have copies of the timetable for the day,
the question pack and the school's selfevaluation
y can access the school's Wi-Fi and have a
copy of a map of the school
y know where to access the toilets
y have ordered food (if required)
y are clear about the plan for the day
y understand how and when they will provide
feedback to the review team lead
y ask any additional questions, if applicable
The review team lead should then remind the
team of the review protocols (page 2, above)
and provide a brief synopsis of the pre-review
briefing (including any co-constructed elements
of the day).
